Its one of those movies which leave an impact after watching it. A pretty good mix of history with fiction which has been portrayed brilliantly on screen by Élie Chouraqui. I never felt that the script let me loose at any given point during the movie and it's worth investing 2 hours of run time. The story is about two friends, one Jew and the other an Arab,who travel from New York to Jerusalem and how their relationship is affected when they join the war to fight for their motherland. Gradually the story shows the complexities and also depicts the birth of Israel. The direction was very impressive and so was the photography/cinematography in the movie. The music of the movie was also very nice which was perfectly fused with the story. The actors were simply great in whatever roles they had specially the lead roles by JJ Feild and Saïd Taghmaoui. This one will go to my all favorite movie list and is a must watch if anyone has skipped this one.
