This is my first movie in the original Pink Panther series and it was good enough but I still like the Steve Martin's version of Inspector Clouseau.The comedy element was good in this movie and Peter Sellers was very funny in his third appearance as Jacques Clouseau. In this edition Clouseau is once again called on to investigate the theft of the Pink Panther diamond from the national museum of a fictional country called Lugash. The direction was not bad and the supporting actors did well, specially Christopher Plummer. Overall a nice movie to watch and will be looking forward to see more of the original Pink Panther movies.
